PRE-EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
Prospective chauffeurs must:
- Complete a company application, an in-depth interview process, and an extensive background check.
- Provide acceptable documentation of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Provide verification of prior work performance, including two work-related references.
- Pass drug-testing, fingerprint screening, and a driver license background check.
- Provide prior licensing information from the Westchester County Taxi & Limousine Commission.
POST-EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
- Chauffeurs must attend and remain up to date on defensive driving certification and courses.
- New-hires must attend an orientation that introduces the driver to the policies, procedures, individual job responsibilities, reporting procedures, proper appearance and conduct expected by Continental chauffeurs.
- Chauffeurs are supervised by a company manager and experienced other chauffeurs as part of our driver mentor program, intended to assess skills, performance, and satisfactory work habits.
- All employees are subject to unannounced spot-checks at airports and other locations.
